Getting Started Classes
Matrix: Accessing What You Want
CE Credit: 2 (Brokers & Appraisers)
This course will teach users how to expertly navigate Matrix, the core MLS system, generating search results, reports, neighborhood reports, and public records data reports. Students will learn the various output options such as email, print and export for all of the reports. In addition students will learn how to save all reports and edit these reports.
Matrix: If it Can’t Be Found, it Can’t Be Sold

Learn how to input and maintain listings in Matrix and the importance of thorough and accurate input.
This course will teach users how to input and maintain listings in Matrix by exploring REcolorado rules and regulations, data input field options and functionality and listing maintenance options. Students will gain a complete understanding of listing input and maintenance by locating and understand listing input forms for all property types, how to enter listing data based on the field type’s available, adding photos and supplemental documents as well as how to change the price or status of a property. In addition students will learn how to add open house and virtual tour features to their listings and how to access their listings using the My Listing widget.
Matrix: Communication Tools

Learn how Matrix can help you share information with clients in a quick, easy and professional manner.
This course will explore communication tools within Matrix, the new core MLS system, while introducing members to basic navigation and search functionality. Students will be able to take full advantage of the Client Portal by learning to set up contacts, place personalized branding on all communications, interpret dashboard widget functionality as it provides real time customer interaction with the portal, create auto email alerts to generate update to property criteria to the customer, and manage client communications.
Realist: Accessing Public Records
CE Credit: 2 (Brokers & Appraisers)
This course will explore functionality and navigation of the MLS Public Records system Realist. Students will learn to access, navigate, search, and customize Realist. They will learn to generate 5 property centric public records reports: Property Detail Report, Comparable Report, Market Trends Report, Neighborhood Report, and Neighborhood Profile Report. Students will also learn to print, email, and export results and reports. Students will create and save custom searches and templates; use map overlays to analyze geographic areas; and generate mailing labels.

This class will teach you how to create your Broker Profile so future clients can contact you and select you to represent them. You will learn how REcolorado.com connects you with potential clients. Set up automatic weekly reports for your sellers indicating the REcolorado.com traffic you have generated for their listing. Understand how clients can register with you and how they are utilizing REcolorado.com. Explore additional tools REcolorado.com provides, such as the ability to conduct searches based on commute time.
Advanced Classes
Matrix: Making it Your Own*
CE Credit: 1 (Brokers)
The advanced course will teach you how to customize Matrix to meet your business needs. Organize the Dashboard to maximize effectiveness, create custom Displays and Exports, set search, map, and display defaults to maximize efficiency. This course will explore customization options throughout Matrix. Upon completion students will be able to take full advantage of the customization options streamlining the system to meet their business needs. Students will be able to interpret and customize the Market Watch and Hotsheet widgets, export results with system defaults, export results according to defined criteria, set system defaults, create custom displays and create custom reports.
This two hour course consists of 1 hour of instruction and then 1 optional workshop hour to apply the customization options to your own accounts.

Leverage the Efficiencies of Matrix

This advanced course will explore how to efficiently organize, update, and maintain one’s work in Matrix. Students will learn how to organize Matrix in a contact-centric manner; reducing the number of clicks it takes to access information and minimizing the frustration of combing through large lists. They will learn to quickly and efficiently change saved search/auto email criteria to match the changing needs of clients, create multiple portals for one client, organize information for a market area, leverage and create multiple carts allowing for the creation of lists that include both client favorites and possibilities.

Market Intel
CE Credit: 2 (Brokers)
This advanced course will explore the power of in-depth and current market intelligence through a variety of preset statistics as well as statistics customized via user defined parameters. Students will learn the countless metrics they can generate from InfoSparks and how to share them to their customer base via multiple modalities. Students will learn to generate prepopulated reports via FastStats. Students will learn how to generate statistics from MLS data as well as public records information found within Realist. Upon completion of the class, students will be able to generate preset reports as well as customize reports that meet their specific data needs.

How Matrix and Realist Can Help You Price Properties
CE Credit: 2 (Brokers)
This advanced course will explore tools and reports in Matrix and Realist that can help you price properties competitively, including 4 different CMA reports. Students will learn to generate property specific and comparative reports, as well as how to quickly and efficiently search for comparable properties and use the Matrix CMA wizard. Students will understand how to retain, share, and manage reports generated in both systems.

Target the Right Buyer - It's Your Listing You Decide
CE Credit: None
The right channel = the right buyer. In this class we will we will discuss online marketing strategies for your listings, how to determine the best channels for the best buyer and how you can share that information with your clients. You will learn the definitions of IDX and syndication, and the differences between them. We will share things you should consider when advertising listings on the internet, learn who is responsible for ensuring the listing information is up to date and accurate, as well as review the tools provided by REcolorado to assist with marketing your listing on the internet.

This course will teach users how to comfortably navigate the Homesnap app. Users will learn how to conduct a search in the app based on their geo-location or by entering specific criteria. Students will learn how to connect and communicate with clients through the app, as well as how to generate a CMA and set up and use the built in safety timer.
